Trying to decide what is the best heating and air conditioning option for your home or business can be overwhelming at times. At AZ-AC.COM we provide answers to some of the questions we hear over and over from our Do-It-Yourself customers. Central heating and cooling systems that are traditionally used in homes are called split systems because they typically have indoor and outdoor components.   They include both an air handler that is installed in an attic, garage or closet and a condenser outside the home or business.  Traditional heating and cooling systems distribute heated or cooled air through a duct system throughout the structure.  A mini split air conditioner also has indoor and outdoor components, but it takes up a lot less space than traditional heating and cooling systems and uses a air handler/head mounted on an interior wall to distribute heated and cooled air through the structure.

SEER, or Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio, is the measurement used for both air conditioning and heat pump cooling efficiencies. The higher the SEER rating, the more efficiently a unit operates. This saves homeowners and consumers money on energy costs.

All products sold by AZ-AC.COM come with limited manufacturer warranties.  Each product listing specifies the warranty for each product.

Your first step is to contact the manufacturer directly.  If you are unable to resolve the problem with the manufacturer, please contact us at support@az-ac.com and we will assist you in contacting the manufacturer for a replacement or refund.

751-1000 Sq. Ft/ 24k BTU

1001-1500 Sq. Ft/ 36k BTU

The smaller 9k BTU and 12k BTU systems work with 115V power sources.  All other units require 208/230 V power.

AZ-AC.COM does not offer financing at this time.

At this time the IRS and Department of Energy have not set forth specific guidelines for applying for and receiving both rebates and tax credits for the purchase of new heating and air conditioning systems that replace less efficient units or reduce a homeowner’s carbon footprint.  While you may be eligible for a rebate or credit, the government has not provided guidance for how to apply.  Check back occasionally.  As soon as the process is announced, we will provide a link here.
